Namjoon began his career under the name 'Runch Randa' in 2008 . He worked with the underground rapper 'Zico' and was part of the Korean underground hip-hop group 'Daenamhyup'. When Hitman discovred RM, he was so fascinated by his talent, that he decided to form a band around him. That is how he got to be  the first member of BTS. With their debut he  became known as 'Rap Monster'.
As of today RM worked with a lot of national and international artist.
