BTS is a South Korean seven member boy group consisting of RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook who are trained, managed and supported by 'Big Hit Entertainment'.
BTS is an acronym for '빙틴손년딘' [Bangtan Sonyoendan] which roughly translates to
'Bulletproof Boy Scouts'. Later on an additional acronym 'Beyond The Scene' was added. They are seven amazing artists with individual personalities capturing the hearts of millions of fans globally.
While imparting a positive influence through activities such as the LOVE MYSELF campaign in cooperation with UNICEF and their 'Speak Yourself' speech at the UN, BTS has mobilized millions of fans (named ARMY) across the world, topped prominent music charts, sold out worldwide tours including stadiums like 'Wembley' and have been recognized with numerous prestigious awards like the Billboard Music Awards and American Music Awards not only once.
The group is gaining a lot of recognition from their authentic, self-produced music and always top notch performances. Together with the relentless support of their fans called A.R.M.Y. - Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth - the septet is well on their way to becoming a global icon since they debuted in June 2013
Being artists from a small, unknown entertainment company that was close to bankruptcy, the group had to overcome many obstacles to succeed. It was during those hard times living together in a tiny dorm that they developed an extremely close relationship with each other. They sacrificed their blood, sweat, and tears to get where they are today.
