I officially joined AB as a full-fledged member in May 2019. Along the way I've met some wonderful people who have now become close to my heart. Some are still in AB, some have left. I am very grateful to AB for facilitating that.
AB has kept me informed on relevant news, votings, and events concerning BTS. And I'd like to believe that we as a team had helped with the longevity to keep our boys on top. We consistently stream, vote, and use shazam.
It is sad when our main account was suspended. I also noticed our members decreased quite significantly. But I appreciate all the Brigadiers who have stayed to keep this fanbase going. My respect to the Admins and Leaders who ensure this team is not only about work, but also fun. Shout out to the latest Streaming Party. It was so much fun, knowing that along the 24-hour-span we have members streaming from different countries.
I have one complaint that's kinda petty, but to be honest it's been eating me inside. I'm not sure to whom I should direct this so I've kept it to myself until now. I've always checked AB attendance file from time to time and took pride in my perfect attendance and my piggybank accumulation. Then I went on hiatus sometime in Oct/Nov. I checked the sheet again and found that my name was completely deleted. I wasn't in the "Brigadiers" sheet, but also not in the "on hold" sheet (at the time there is such a sheet). In the mean time, I noticed some names had columns of maroon color indicating non-attendance, but they're still listed in the file, maintaining their piggybank numbers.
I felt disappointed, like I was kicked out or something, but thought maybe I had the wrong, not-updated file. Or maybe there's some other rules that I don't know applied to them. Until I became active member again and checked the same file. It was the updated file after all. I found my name, but now I have lost all of my piggybank. I don't think I read anything in the rules that said piggybank expires when members go on hiatus. Otherwise I would've just used the piggybank to cover my inactive days instead of going on hiatus completely. But I kept quiet anyway. It's not that I want my piggybank back or something. I guess I just wanna know what happened. And if piggybanks indeed expire after hiatus, it should be stated in the rules.
As I said before, it's petty, but it's what I felt and I had to get it out. I hope I'm not offending anyone. Thank you for reading this long letter.
AB, FIGHTING! 💃🏻
